The mission of Food2050 is to bring together all of the actors/players in the food chain – from seed to plate – to present, discuss, share and innovate on what our plates will look like in 2050 and how we will get there. The varied backgrounds of the audience will be able to find common-ground topics within the main tracks, allowing for exchange and conversation with the ultimate goal of ensuring we still have food in our plates in 2050.  While the individual goals of the target audiences are very different (profit, research, environment/ecology, gastronomy/culture, etc.), Food2050 wants to provide a platform that fosters dialog about ways to collaborate, share ideas and move towards the ultimate goal through the achievements of the individual ones.
